Welcome!

We are a group of PhD students, postdocs, and professors from different faculties at the University of Stuttgart.

Most of us are Christians from different church backgrounds, but we are open to anyone who is interested in exploring the Christian faith or its relationship to academia.

We are part of the inter-denominational Europe-wide network The Association of Christian Postgraduate Groups.

Our vision

We believe that the Christian faith makes a fundamental difference for our academic work and life. Because we have experienced God’s love, we want to glorify God through all we do.

Our vision is to help each other think about how a Christian worldview shapes our research and teaching and to explore how both point back to Christ. We aim to work with intellectual humility, connecting our disciplines to the Gospel and its implications for the whole university.

We seek to live out God’s love authentically—supporting each other, listening well, and engaging openly with questions and challenges of academic life.

What we do

We talk about the connection between academic life and the Christian faith in a relaxed atmosphere twice per month.

We organize public lectures and panel discussions for a wider audience once per semester.

We meet weekly for a time of prayer and mutual encouragement.

We gather for lunch on a biweekly basis.
